Sponsors
A sponsor pays for a clinical research study. Sponsors may be drug companies, private organizations or government agencies. These different groups often work together to discover new and better medicines. To conduct clinical research, sponsors work with healthcare professionals like Accurate Clinical Trials, which specializes in running the studies. The doctor in charge of the study is called the Principal Investigator. The Study Coordinator is a healthcare professional who coordinates study-related activities.
